Got a Questions?

FAQ

Yes, and it is strictly enforced. To qualify for either tier, your job offer must pay the specific wage rate listed for your exact occupation on the Green List. If no specific rate is designated for your role, you must be paid at least the standard New Zealand median wage, which is NZD $35.00 per hour (or the annual equivalent)

You absolutely must have a valid job or job offer. The Green List is not a points-test visa where you can migrate without employment. Your job offer must be full-time (minimum 30 hours per week), genuine, and come from an employer who is officially accredited by Immigration New Zealand (INZ). The contract must be permanent or fixed-term for at least 12 months.

Simply matching the job title is one of the most common reasons applications face issues. Your profile must align with the exact ANZSCO code criteria. This means your daily duties must mirror the ANZSCO description, and you must hold the precise qualification level, major, or professional New Zealand registration specified for that role on the list.

Yes. When you apply for residency through either the Tier 1 or Tier 2 pathway, you can fully include your partner and any dependent children aged 24 or younger in the same application. If approved, they will receive residency alongside you, granting them the right to live, work, and study in New Zealand with local citizen/resident benefits.

Yes. To be eligible to apply for either the Straight to Residence or the Work to Residence visa, you must be 55 years old or younger at the time your application is officially locked in and submitted to Immigration New Zealand.
