The Australia–India Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early-professionals Scheme (MATES) under Subclass 403 is a temporary work visa designed for young Indian graduates to gain professional experience in Australia. It allows eligible applicants to live and work in Australia for up to two years in priority sectors such as engineering, ICT, renewable energy, mining, fintech, and artificial intelligence. This visa is not points-tested, but applicants must be selected through a ballot system and meet age, education, English, health, and character requirements.
